The workers were super nice, despite the language barrier, and the restaurant was mind-blowing! The brochettes with plantains were jaw-droppingly delicious. The rooms were really comfy, with always hot water in the bathtub. The pool and central location were super convenient, with a quick walk to the beach. The staff were always accessible and flexible, and the variety at breakfast was impressive. a fantastic stay with great amenities and a superb location.

I recently stayed at Gorillas Lake Kivu in Gisenyi for a weekend getaway. The hotel's location near Lake Kivu was perfect for our leisurely time by the beach. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the beautiful garden, filled with lush trees and lovely birds. Our room had a spacious balcony that overlooked the garden and the lake, offering breathtaking views. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The staff, especially Johnny, Deo, and Bahati, were friendly and helpful. a wonderful experience with a great swimming pool and proximity to the beach.

The rooms were a little too warm, with no fan or air conditioning. the open windows did mean that mosquitoes were somewhat of an issue, and we found ourselves battling them throughout the night.

Had a fabulous weekend at this hotel. The pool was fantastic and the breakfast had a great variety of healthy options. The location couldn't be better as there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony that provided stunning views of the nearby mountains.

The Wi-Fi on our floor wasn't great and the TV channels were limited. there was no fridge or electric kettle in the room which would have been nice.
